Same as Bing, I didn't trade any future picks either, so best of luck to all of you.

Let me know if you guys are able to find enough replacement owners and somebody is willing to step up as commish and I can transfer any funds. Otherwise, I'll plan on just sending out all payouts without holding league fees for next year.
Thanks,
Cameron

Who haven't we heard from?
Scoregasms?
Rob (Smurfs)?
Marshalls?
sounds like DC has 2 guys lined up already, so we'd just need to recruit 2 more assuming the 3 questionable people are staying. I think we should consider having an expansion draft for any new teams if we can get enough to make it fair and allow them to make create their own teams in a since...

I agree with the expansion too as it looks like we would have to find atleast 4 mew owners. Just take all the players from those 4 teams and all of the free agents and put them in a pool and start them over then have a rookie draft for everyone?
What abotu just starting it all over from scratch? Im looking at it this way. there will be 4 new owners in this league along with a few that have only been in a year or two. Basically half of the league. Now I could be greedy and not want this because i love the youth on my team and think it has alot of potential with Rogers, Moreno, Best, and the carolina boys along with my recievers all young as well but bieng that we have over half of the league either first year or a season vested maybe it be best to just start things over? It;s just a thought

Dc has some people? More Minnesota people? That would make half the league all in Minnesota ha ha

One of the guys I have lined up to take over a team is my fifteen year old son. If we could find someone else to take a team I'd prefer to go that route, I'd only like to have him take over a team as a last resort.
I'm on board with some sort of expansion draft idea. I'll apologize now though for being greedy, I do not want to scrap everything and start over. If we wanted to do something like that maybe we could protect a certain amount of players on our rosters, like 50%, and have a free agent draft after.

i agree that I don't want to blow it up and start over. Might as well just join a new league then. All my work would be ruined. I think a good compromise is what you suggested...could just protect like 20 players prior to the expansion draft (4 new teams then draft 20 players) then start the rookie/free agent draft after that and have it be 15 rounds...

I could be up for this too. I agree with Loose that I'd rather not start completely over but I'd be willing to toss back in half my guys. I've never participated in something like this before. If we did it this way would the 4 vacated teams throw back all their guys and go through a draft until they reach 15 each and then all 12 teams would draft from the remainder of the guys in the pool plus whatever 15 guys we threw back plus rookies? Or do we throw back our guys into the free agent pool let the 4 teams get up to the same number we have and then just start drafting and add rookies at that point?
I guess I'd want to understand the rules exactly before we voted on it.
Out of curiousity how long has this league been in existence? And has anyone done an expansion type of draft like this?
I imagine wanting to keep your players really depends on where your team sits right now.

On the flip side if we don't have the rookie draft I'll be really bummed, as I traded Vick for a 1st and 2nd, which would have given me two of the top five picks in the first and second round. Looks like I would have been better off keeping him...

I believe either way we are having a rookie draft.

although this depends on whether Marshalls and Scoregasms come back as well...haven't heard from them yet...well Chewy said he's waiting on what we decide to do with the rosters and that his buddies all bowed out
the abandon teams have some solid talent, so I don't see why we couldn't fill those spots with a 4 team expansion draft

Bring them in. It would be nice to get the new owners in and let them draft their teams from the old 4 rosters. Have we heard from the other couple of owners yet?

Also, if someone wants to step up and definitively take commish responsibilities while you guys figure this out, let me know and I'll transfer the site over so you guys can take care of everything.
