Two terrible teams against the pass. If you can get a piece of the passing game go for it.

Trade ettiquette
26 October 2012 - 04:25 PM
I wanted to run this by to see what others think because I know many of you commish leagues. I really have two questions although the second has multiple parts. I commsih a league on myfantasyleague.com. I gave rights to a co-commish recently because he was doing some of the background design for the website. Today he gets on the message board an leaves this message:
"I am a little hurt Auld. Here you are handing out offers of Donald Brown/Titus Young SR for owners first round pick, yet, I never got mine. I mean, what did I do to make you madat me? Why am I not good enough for that offer? Donald Brown is an explosive back who will be the main ball carrier for Indy for years to come. He is the next LT. And Titus Young Sr will be the man now the Bureleson is out and the Madden jinx has gotten a hold of Megatron. Once Stafford lights it up with Young Sr the rest of the year, people will be saying "Calvin who?"
So again, what is the deal? How come I don't get the same trade treatment."
My first question is based around this. Does your league have any ettiquette rules around trade offers? I believe trade offers shouldn't really be broadcast to other members in the league and is really only between those individual members involved in the trade.
My second question is around this. I believe he knows there are multiple trade offers because with co-commish powers he is able to see trade offers. He has one close friend in this league but I'm not sure anyone else would have shared info with him.
Would you take his commish rights away? Is there a way to hide this from even the commish?
As commish I certainly don't even want to know what is being offered out there because I feel it gives me an unfair advantage bargaining wise over other owners. I just want to be able to rule on trades in the end. I don't tend to look at this ever but it is there.
If there is no way to hide it do you see the advantage it gives the commish and if you are commish how do you deal with it?
