One AFC personnel director believes that rookie James Starks "could end up being a good fit" for the Packers.

"You have to wait and see how fast he comes back into full stride," said the personnel man. "He was one of the true third-down backs in the (draft) class. Really good hands. He's a good, productive, hard-running back." Starks is a bit of a project coming from the University of Buffalo's spread offense, while coming off a washed-out senior year. We still love him in dynasty leagues.

I find a duck's opinion of me is very much influenced by whether or not I have bread.

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE reach in dynasty leagues. It's so easy to trade down and get this guy after the 10th round.

I can say this without a doubt, Starks will be a late first round pick in my dynasty league. I don't have a first round pick, but someone will take him in round 1.

Packers RB James Starks (hamstring), SS Atari Bigby (ankle), and CB Al Harris (knee) will begin camp on active/PUP.
Starks' hamstring injury has lingered since the spring, hurting his chances of pushing Brandon Jackson for passing-down snaps. Bigby's ankle problems are chronic, and he'll be hard pressed to beat out rookie SS Morgan Burnett without practicing. Harris is a candidate for the regular season PUP list.

Maybe this will piss on the 1st round hype campfire...

This should show any fool that thinks of taking him in the first.

"The Spring brings Cherry Blossoms to comfort you.
The Summer, stars. The Harvest moon in the fall. And the powder snow in winter.
All these things, and the promise of them, is what makes Sake taste so sweet.
That is enough for Sake to taste good. If it still repels you, then you must be ill."

Packers coach Mike McCarthy admits that rookie RB James Starks' hamstring injury is "probably a little worse than we initially thought."

Well, yeah. He's been out since May. At this point, we wouldn't be surprised if an MRI revealed Starks has a tear. The promising rookie's chances of securing a kick return job and some passing-down snaps are dwindling

It's both hilarious and sad in how the website administrators make posts in these threads and essentially encourage Starks to remain the FFLivewire Poster Boy. Maybe the website administrators should just go fuck themselves.

It's hilarious that there's only one reason he's the poster boy, and that's getting rid of a troll like The Lung.

Coach Mike McCarthy is "clearly disappointed" that James Starks (hamstring) has been unable to get on the field since May.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette speculates that Starks, once considered a promising sixth-round pick, could end up on injured reserve. Meanwhile, Quinn Porter has stepped up and may have passed Kregg Lumpkin for the No. 3 RB job.

Candidate for IR....not sounding good.
